Mini Session Information

I am pleased that you have selected Leslie Leavitt Photography for your studio or on location photography services. Leslie Leavitt Photography is honored to photograph you in an artistic and unique style. This letter sets forth the terms and conditions of our engagement.

A non-refundable retainer fee is required to officially book and hold your date and time. However, this retainer fee will be honored for one year in the event of a cancellation.

The remaining session fee is due before or on the day of your scheduled session. No part of any order, including online viewing gallery, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.

Leslie Leavitt Photography does maintain the right to cancel your session date and time or give it to another client if it does not receive the retainer fee one week before your session is scheduled.

In the event that you need to re-schedule, please allow for 24-48 hour notice. You will be allowed one event reschedule without charge.

Please arrive **on time** to ensure that you are able to have the full session scheduled. If you arrive later than 15 minutes you may be subject to rescheduling fee.

If, in the opinion of the photographer, inclement weather or other adverse conditions prevent the creation of a portrait meeting my artistic standards, I may elect to use an alternate location or reschedule.

Only the person or persons being photographed may attend the session, provided however that in the case of children and infants, up to 2 adults may also attend. Parents attending will be asked to adhere to any instructions from the photographer and to not interfere with the photographer’s work.

Please, do not bring your personal camera, or recording equipment to the photo session.

If Leslie Leavitt Photography is unable to fulfill this contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to illness or emergency, than I shall return all monies to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract.

Leslie Leavitt Photography shall own the copyright and exclusive property of all images created.

It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs or videos without Leslie Leavitt Photography’s permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

Photographs taken by Leslie Leavitt Photography may not be altered, cropped, edited or changed in any way, without written consent.

The Client is obtaining prints and or digital images for personal use only, and shall not sell prints of use in publications (such as editorial, public relations, or advertising use) without prior written consent from Leslie Leavitt Photography.

The Client grants Leslie Leavitt Photography permission to display selected images resulting from this assignment as an example of Photographer’s work and for the entrance into photographic competitions and release all claims to profit that may arise from use of images.

The Client will relinquish any right to examine or approve the completed product or products or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction with, to which it may be applied.

Model Release

The Client grants to Leslie Leavitt Photography, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of Client, Client’s child or children, or in which Client may be included for editorial, trade, advertising and other purposes, and in any other manner or medium. Client hereby releases Photographer from all claims and liability to all images produced at session.

Photographs taken by Leslie Leavitt Photography may be used for the purpose of display, advertising, portfolio, website/blog or any other publication without any additional compensation. The signing of this contract will serve as a modeling release.
