LIFESTYLE SESSION TIPS
When preparing for a session in your home, you do not have to do much. Do not stress out about not having a perfectly clean home, because what shows in the photos is not the items that are in your house but the love that fills your home. And that is what I want to photograph.
Upon arriving at your home, I will walk around and determine where the best light is. I typically shoot in master bedroom, living room, and baby's nursery.
The temperature of the house should be warm, so if possible adjust the heating or cooling for this.
My number one priority is baby's safety. Your little bundle will always be treated with the highest level of care. I do not use props or poses that will put your newborn at risk of harm.
If you would like, please feed baby before I arrive. Babies with full tummies are typically sleepy and happy. But don't worry if you aren't able, we will allow for feedings in between if needed.
I like to shoot baby wearing minimal clothing. If you insist on your baby wearing clothes, I would suggest a white onesie or other basic clothes.
The focus of this session is not to get the "perfect" pose but get the interaction between the family members. Just relax, and leave everything to me.
